I WON!!

I never win on eBay! However, I just became the proud winner of a Clemes & Clemes spinning wheel. I'm pretty excited. (This will be my 2nd wheel). Now mom and I can spin at the same time (once we teach her how). My other wheel is an Ashford Joy which I purchased from Ancient Pathways, Fresno, CA. I'm interested to see how the two wheels differ in feel as one is dual drive and the other is scotch tensioned. I hoping to see this arrive at my home prior to the new year.

Seeking Yarn in Singapore

Well, I made it to Singapore. Now the quest for a LYS has begun. I had the concierge find me an address (5 min by taxi) to a yarn store. We shall see what we shall see!

Where's Waldo

Yesterday was quite a travel day. (Good thing I had knitting with me to work on!). Drove 4 hours from Visalia, CA to Los Angeles, waited about 5 hours at LAX for a 2hr flight to Reno, then popped back into a car and drove another 3 hours to Mammoth Lakes. Ugh!!

Next week I will be in New Orleans. Following week will be Singapore. Following week will be Minneapolis. That will take me up to Dec. 23rd. I guess no Christmas Tree for me this year! Oh well, maybe next year.

Well, I suppose it's time. I've put it off for so long, it's probably not even fashionable to have a blog anymore... but I've always been a few steps ahead or behind the 'in' thing.
